As a young hijabi, we see all the latest trends and fashions and want to find new ways to incorporate them into our wardrobes. You can always go ahead and add all the latest colors and designs into you abaya. Looking for a new abaya that incorporates mainstream trends can be impossible, so what I like to do is , go shopping and buy few of the latest in fashion Tops and wear them over my abaya. That way I can look different all the time wearing the same abaya .Here is an example as to how you can go about wearing different tops over your abaya .
look 1 : turban style hijab. Hijab around the neck.
Umbrella abaya , white shirt with buttons left open .

Look 2 : same shirt buttoned up , also tied a knot at bottom of shirt , collar up to cover the neck .

BE WARNED !!! I am a chocoholic. I love anything and everything with chocolate in it or on it .
This is 1 simple chocolate cake recipe which I adapted from my sister in law, the cake itself is Devine let alone the topping .
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups Flour
3 tbsp cocoa
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup Luke warm water
1 big slab Dairymilk chocolate
1 small tin nestle cream
1 tin caramel treat
Pre heat oven to 180 degrees
Combine first 3 ingredients until white
Add the second 3 ingredients , add water immediately after .
Pour batter into a 25 inch round baking tin and bake for 15 min or until done
FOR THE TOPPING :
In a saucepan halfway melt the chocolate now add in the nestle cream stir until cream fully mix with chocolate .
Decorating the cake :
Wait until the cake is cooled , cut in the middle of the cake now and smear the caramel treat on the 1 side and rejoin the cake . Pour the sauce over the whole cake and then take remaining caramel treat make roses or stars.
